Sepanjang siri pertama SIBS, sebanyak 23 surat setuju terima (LOA), surat hasrat (LOI), memorandum perjanjian (MoA), dan memorandum persefahaman (MoU) telah dimeterai. Jumlah nilai transaksi daripada rundingan yang dilakukan dan pertukaran dokumen mencecah RM12.2 bilion tahun ini, melepasi sasaran RM7 bilion yang ditetapkan untuk keseluruhan SIBS 2024.

On Friday, when tabling the Budget 2024, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had announced that the Federal government had agreed to reinstate the construction of five LRT3 stations that were scrapped by the former Pakatan Harapan administration.

“Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional’s base would be pleased as long as the economy is well-managed. The generosity for Sabah and Sarawak should endear Anwar’s government to East Malaysians and remove excuses for East Malaysian parties to back any attempt to change the government,” he added.

“Tahun ini sahaja 334 peserta berpendapatan bawah RM3,000 mendapat manfaat itu berbanding 236 tahun lepas. Esok kita juga akan buat lagi serahan bantuan di Banting,” katanya hari ini.
