“Selangor’s success in contributing 25.5 per cent to the country’s gross domestic product (GDP) is a result of the workers in Selangor, including those from Sabah and Sarawak.

“Selangor has indeed set a specific target to achieve high-income state status and considering the population size, the encouraging economic development each year and the excellent infrastructure, we believe that goal can be achieved,” he told Bernama in an exclusive interview.

Amirudin yang juga Pengerusi Pakatan Harapan (PH) Selangor berkata setakat ini senarai nama calon untuk kedua-dua gabungan itu masih dalam perbincangan dan dijangka dapat diputuskan beberapa hari sebelum tarikh penamaan calon iaitu pada 29 Julai ini.

"Berdasarkan keadaan fasiliti, kemudahan dan sebagainya, Ampang Jaya sebenarnya sudah layak menjadi bandar raya tetapi kita kena pastikan MPAJ mempunyai hasil yang mencukupi atau mampu untuk menguruskan sebuah bandar raya," katanya.

“And I have yet to add the seven seats we actually won, which are considered marginal because we won below 2,000 votes. So, if we add those seven seats, then PH and BN can form the state government with 40 seats and obtain a two-thirds victory,” he said.

"Bagi PH, 'Kita Selangor' itu sudah sarat dengan pengalaman, rekod perkhidmatan dan ia adalah realiti yang diterima secara nyata oleh rakyat ketika ini," katanya dalam temu bual bersama Bernama.

“The economy is uncertain. But they couldn’t care less because they are only focusing on winning Selangor to use the state reserves for political programmes. They are not interested in progress other than politics. That’s why Selangor must be defended.”

Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari memaklumkan pertambahan dana itu dibuat selepas kes syariah dimasukkan dalam senarai bantuan manakala had kelayakan isi rumah keluarga turut dinaikkan kepada RM5,000 daripada RM2,000.

"Pulau Pinang sudah berkembang jauh, dapat pelaburan besar, kedudukan ekonomi tertinggi selepas Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur, tetapi Kedah masih menyumbang di bawah lima peratus Keluaran Dalam Negara Kasar (KDNK)," - MB

He also said that the state government has decided that SELangkah will serve as a data entry point for people in the state.

Malam ini semua jentera perpaduan di enam negeri iaitu Selangor, Pulau Pinang, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan dan Terengganu dilancarkan serentak.

Beliau ditemui pada Majlis Pelancaran Madani Afiat, Gotong-royong Mega Perangi Aedes 1.0 & One Hour Malaysia Clean Up Peringkat Kebangsaan 2023 di padang awam Batu Caves, pada Ahad.

“Menurut laporan Jabatan Perangkaan Malaysia juga, pertumbuhan ekonomi Selangor melebihi pertumbuhan paras nasional sebanyak 3.2 peratus, iaitu sebanyak 11.9 peratus berbanding 8.7 peratus pertumbuhan kadar nasional.”- MB

“However, we believe it will provide an opportunity for new faces and ideas to continue administering and developing Selangor,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.

Amirudin said the state administration was working to support the people’s economic survival efforts, instead of burdening the public.

“Our strength in sports has actually been championed since the 1990s, but after 2010, there have been competitors like Terengganu and Kuala Lumpur as they have more consistent sports development programmes.

Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari berkata penambahan daripada 22 juta pelancong yang direkodkan tahun lalu susulan adanya tarikan baharu dalam industri pelancongan negeri.

Dato’ Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari berharap pentadbiran sedia ada perlu dipertahankan pada pilihan raya negeri (PRN) kelak bagi merealisasikan agenda Rancangan Selangor Pertama (RS-1).

“This was only possible thanks to the teamwork, perseverance and planning by state executive councillors as well as the lineup of committed civil servants.”

“This is the highest growth and highest contribution by Selangor to the country’s GDP since Pakatan Harapan was entrusted with governing this state in 2008,” he said in a statement today.

"Pencapaian prestasi pertumbuhan ini dapat menjamin kemakmuran Selangor sebagai gedung ekonomi Malaysia dan menjadi paksi kepada kestabilan pentadbiran serta kesejahteraan rakyat," katanya.

"We've recently held a special MMKN meeting where we have approved 450 working papers, because based on past experience, the approval for these papers were delayed because it was not appropriate to approve them (after the dissolution of the state assembly)."

Jelas Amirudin, kemasukan pekerja ke kuarters berkenaan akan melibatkan urusan dengan pengusaha-pengusaha kilang serta permintaan daripada individu, namun pada peringkat awal keutamaan diberikan kepada majikan.

Kerajaan Negeri memperuntukkan RM100,000 untuk projek rintis program kempen kesedaran dan penyediaan tuala wanita percuma kepada 1,000 pelajar kurang mampu dari lima sekolah.

“Thank god, with the spirit of Kita Selangor, we managed to rise and prove that this administration is one that is tried, tested and proven in defending the people’s interest,” he said, here today.
