Past activities, such as the MBPJ Para Carnival in collaboration with the Malaysian Paralympic Council and the Datuk Bandar Cup for Goal Ball, were highlighted at the carnival.

LZS chief executive officer Mohd Sabirin Mohd Sarbini said themed 'Sedikit Bagi Anda, Segalanya Buat Mereka', the campaign, to be held until December 31, is aimed at inviting eligible zakat contributors to help the needy asnaf.

"Kedua-dua unit ini bertindak sebagai penyelaras program pembasmian kemiskinan oleh agensi pemberi bantuan di peringkat Persekutuan dan negeri melalui mesyuarat fokus grup kesejahteraan rakyat negeri Selangor dan di peringkat daerah," katanya.

The contribution was handed over by Amirudin to the Secretary of the West Asia Division, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Zahairi Baharim, at the Selangor State Secretariat Building.

As for the services sector, Ng said the state government has identified sectors that have the potential to grow in Selangor, including the logistics service industry and digital investment such as global business services, data centres and creative content technology.
