He also noted that Selangor, through its subsidiary Worldwide Holdings Bhd, is involved in 10 pilot projects worth RM10 billion, many of which are focused on green technology.

He said that so far, land revenue sources such as land tax, premiums, land and mineral permits as well as land-related service fees account for as much as 80 per cent of the state's overall revenue.

“Begitu juga acara cabutan bertuah untuk sembilan pemenang setiap hari yang menjadi tarikan SIBF. Justeru saya menyeru orang ramai untuk buat pembelian minimum RM30 dan berpeluang menang hadiah wang tunai RM500,” katanya.

He added the environmental and financial benefits of such initiatives, which align with the First Selangor Plan’s objectives to make Selangor a sustainable state.

“The locations identified include Section 8 in Shah Alam and several locations in every district in the state. If we do not have time to implement (the redevelopment process) this year, we will coordinate it during the (state) budget next year,” he told reporters after the State Civil Servant Assembly here today.
