He also noted that Selangor, through its subsidiary Worldwide Holdings Bhd, is involved in 10 pilot projects worth RM10 billion, many of which are focused on green technology.

He said that so far, land revenue sources such as land tax, premiums, land and mineral permits as well as land-related service fees account for as much as 80 per cent of the state's overall revenue.

Amirudin said that last year, Selangor’s contribution to the country’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) continued to increase to 25.5 per cent while improving on its role as a state that contributes more than a quarter to the country’s GDP.
