On Saturday, 79,398 doses of vaccine were administered, comprising 59,818 doses for second shot, 4,456 booster jabs, and 15,124 doses for first shot, bringing to 69,570,045 the cumulative number of doses given out under the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme.

“Under the National Digital Network (Jendela) plan, there are three ongoing programmes, firstly to increase the number of new 4G telecommunication towers while for the upgrade to 5G the state of Selangor will be given priority,” he said.

Selain itu, Dr Noor Hisham menjelaskan, terdapat perbezaan antara data harian kemasukan kes COVID-19 ke hospital, berbanding kes COVID-19 kategori 1 hingga 5 yang baru didiagnos setiap hari disebabkan keadaan klinikal pesakit yang dinamik dan mungkin merosot atau bertambah baik sepanjang dijangkiti.

“A total of 486 Covid-19 cases were admitted to the hospital yesterday with 198 cases or 40.7 per cent in categories three, four and five while the remaining 288 cases or 59.3 per cent in categories one and two,” Dr Noor Hisham said in a statement today.
