Pada 2022, LZS mencatat pencapaian bersejarah dengan prestasi agihan dan kutipan zakat tertinggi melebihi RM1 bilion sejak penubuhannya selama lebih 25 tahun, iaitu RM1.07 bilion bagi kutipan dan agihan zakat berjumlah RM1.05 bilion.
