In SELANGOR, State Health Department director, Datuk Dr Sha’ari Ngadiman said the closure of 30 schools for two days was to ensure sanitation works were carried out as well as to give the opportunity for the students to undergo screenings.

Amirudin said the previous closure of 19 schools in the state did not follow the proper channel and discussions but was still accepted.

Beliau diminta mengesahkan satu senarai edaran dari Jabatan Pendidikan Negeri Selangor berkenaan penutupan 79 sekolah bermula pada hari ini dan esok akibat pengesanan jangkitan Covid-19 yang tular pada Isnin.

“After this, no more warnings will be given to them and we will issue compounds if they sell retail goods at higher prices,”

While the state is facing the third wave and the possibility of facing the fourth wave, the Selangor government will try to check by conducting screenings and monitoring hotspots, he added.

Menurutnya pertemuan di Shah Alam itu turut membincangkan kepentingan membentuk kerjasama pada masa hadapan dengan negara berkenaan.

Pengekalan dan penukaran status bagi negeri berkuat kuasa mulai 15 April hingga 28 April kecuali di Sarawak yang bermula esok hingga 26 April nanti.
