Scheduled to begin next month at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, SIBS 2024 will be held in two series: Series One from July 25 to 27, and Series Two from Oct 16 to 19. This series will offer industry insights, engagement opportunities, and international networking platforms.

Mayor Mohamad Zahri Samingon said this will ensure micro and macro entrepreneurs can operate with greater confidence in the city, create better job opportunities and stimulate the local economy.

On Friday, when tabling the Budget 2024, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had announced that the Federal government had agreed to reinstate the construction of five LRT3 stations that were scrapped by the former Pakatan Harapan administration.

“Pakatan Harapan and Barisan Nasional’s base would be pleased as long as the economy is well-managed. The generosity for Sabah and Sarawak should endear Anwar’s government to East Malaysians and remove excuses for East Malaysian parties to back any attempt to change the government,” he added.

“Tahun ini sahaja 334 peserta berpendapatan bawah RM3,000 mendapat manfaat itu berbanding 236 tahun lepas. Esok kita juga akan buat lagi serahan bantuan di Banting,” katanya hari ini.
