He added the environmental and financial benefits of such initiatives, which align with the First Selangor Plan’s objectives to make Selangor a sustainable state.

Rafizi berkata, kerajaan mengunjurkan dana permulaan antara RM20 juta hingga RM30 juta untuk setiap syarikat yang mengambil bahagian dalam projek rintis itu nanti, selepas mengambil kira perbezaan sektor, jumlah pekerja terbabit, serta kemampuan fiskal semasa.

Beliau berkata, Selangor telah melahirkan ramai nama besar dalam sukan termasuk atlet gimnastik Farah Ann Abdul Hadi, Gavin Kyle Green (golf) dan Lee Hup Wei (olahraga) hasil pelaksanaan program pembangunan sukan negeri.

“This is among PKPS’ initiatives, and moving forward, we can expect more cooperations with local and foreign companies to further improve food security in Selangor,” he said after witnessing the MoU signing at the State Secretariat Building, here, yesterday.

According to Anwar, he chaired the first National Climate Change Action Council Meeting (MTPIN) for 2023 as a platform for discussion between the Federal Government and the respective state governments to set policies, roadmaps and other matters related to climate change.
