It has also adopted the Malaysian Forestry Policy in 2021, amendments to the National Forestry Act in 2022, and the National Biodiversity Policy 2022-2030 that was launched last month.

“They will develop a software to monitor the condition of the forest. So, some activities can be detected including the entry of the public, the movement of animals, fires and also various other occurrences such as landslides based on sensors or reports given,” he said.

Sultan Sharafuddin, after launching the Selangor Mosque and Surau Financial Management Guidelines 2023 at Istana Alam Shah, here today, expressed hope that mosque and surau administrators can comply and implement all the provisions outlined in the guidelines.

Justeru, Sultan Sharafuddin berharap MAIS dan JAIS dapat melaksanakan program latihan yang intensif dan berterusan dengan menerapkan kaedah latihan yang bersesuaian dengan latar belakang pentadbir agar garis panduan itu dapat difahami mereka.

“Kita turut mengadakan lawatan ke rumah perlindungan Baitul Rahmah. Kemuncak program ini kan disambut pada Ahad ini Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) dan mahu program ini berterusan pada masa depan,” kata Anfaal Saari.
