Selangor Journal: No party marginalised from development, receiving welfare - MB
GOMBAK, Oct 29 — The State Government reiterates its commitment to ensure that no party is marginalised from development and receiving welfare.
The Menteri Besar said the state administration will ensure that all parties are treated fairly in accordance with the constitution.
Dato’ Seri Amirudin Shari also hopes that the people will not easily fall for the incitement of irresponsible parties who want to cause disputes and divisions.
“Don’t be easily consumed by the flames of racism to divide us. If we feel suspicious and raise disputes, in the end we will not progress and be easily influenced by outsiders,” he said at the Let’s Shopping Voucher Distribution ceremony in conjunction with the Deepavali festival at Pasaraya Sri Livestock Selayang Baru here today.
A total of 400 vouchers were distributed to recipients from low-income families (B40) to ease the burden of expenses ahead of the festival.
The Selangor Budget 2023 allocates RM16.48 million for the Jom Shopping voucher programme in conjunction with the festival according to race component which will benefit 82,400 recipients.
Handing over aid is done through community service centres in each area according to the race and celebration.
