Selangor is making significant strides in the aerospace sector, as seen at the Selangor Aviation Show 2024 (SAS 2024). Officiated by Duli Yang Teramat Mulia Tengku Amir Shah Ibni Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj, Raja Muda Selangor, the event is expected to attract over 25,000 visitors and key industry players from more than 45 countries. This year’s edition features an impressive lineup of 50 types of aircraft on static display, including standout models like the Diamond aircraft, Falcon 8X, and Piaggio Avanti. With a projected RM1.3 billion in potential transaction value, SAS 2024 sets a new benchmark in the industry. The event also showcases 128 booths, representing 88 companies from 7 countries, including Singapore, China, the United Kingdom, France, India, Australia, and Cambodia. High-profile participants such as Textron Aviation, Dassault Aviation, Signum Aviation, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited further elevate the event’s prestige.

A highlight of SAS 2024 is the 2nd Career Fair Edition, which connects job seekers with 38 aerospace and aviation companies, promoting talent development and industry growth. This initiative is crucial in nurturing the next generation of aerospace professionals, ensuring a robust talent pipeline to support the sector’s expansion.

Strategic partnerships announced during SAS 2024, including collaborations with Malaysia Airports Holdings, Global Turbine Asia, and Batik Air, are instrumental in expanding Selangor’s aerospace infrastructure.
