“This is because when the Movement Control Order was implemented there were still certain economic sectors operating and work sites have triggered infection clusters, which is why we are also focusing on Phase 4,” he said.

Khairy also said six mega vaccination centres have been opened nationwide that will be able to vaccinate a total of 30,000 individuals daily.

He hoped that the daily cases of Covid-19 infection would drop to below 4,000 by next week following implementation of the total lockdown under MCO 3.0 since June 1.

Noraini said the mega PPV at UiTM Puncak Alam, which began operating today, would be open from 8 am to 5 pm daily and has a hall that can accommodate up to 1,500 people at a time.

“Istilah ini (PKP penuh) sebenarnya langsung tak wujud malah terasing dari realiti kerana mereka (kerajaan) benarkan banyak institusi serta organisasi bergerak yang akhirnya sedikit sebanyak menimbulkan kecelaruan."
